Is Hippo Token compliant with the EU AI Act?
Yes. Hippo Token runs exclusively on our own hardware in Germany, under German law. Data never leaves the EU, and our infrastructure meets EU AI Act requirements for high-risk use cases.
How does pricing work?
Hippo Token is billed by the token — you pay only for what you consume. There is no minimum spend, no seat licence, and no contract term. Usage is visible in your dashboard in real time.
Can we switch from OpenAI or Azure OpenAI?
Yes. Hippo Token exposes an OpenAI-compatible API. Most teams migrate by changing a single base URL and API key — no code rewrites required.
What data does Open Hippo retain?
Nothing beyond the session. We do not log prompt content, store responses, or use your data to train models. All processing happens in-memory on our servers in Bavaria.
Do you offer SLAs and enterprise support?
